Orzeł Biały, 19 November 1949
The first issues of the “Orzeł Biały” (White Eagle) were published by the Polish Army on behalf of General Anders in the Soviet Union (before the Exodus). Later in the Middle East and Rome. In 1946 (in Rome) Tadeusz Wojnarski lived in the same house as the editorial office. After the dissolution of the 2 Polish Corps at the end of 1946, it continued to be published in London. Also the present two numbers.

Wojnarski’s drawings were published in many issues of this magazine. Of particular interest is the two-colour large format print on the last page. It shows the front facade of the University of Salamanca. Wojnarski also created the printing templates.

This exhibition was organized as part of the celebrations 75 years after the Battle of Monte Cassino.

Norman Davies - Szlak Andersa tom 40, Światkowie, April 2019
After “Szlak Nadziei”, a standard work on General Anders by historian Norman Davies, popular in Poland, Rosikon Press published a 40-volume issue entitled “Szlak Andersa” (Ander’s Way). In the last volume, entitled “Witnesses”, Tadeusz Wojnarski was honoured as one of those witnesses of this tragic journey of hope.

After the exhibition «Portrety towarzyszy broni» (Portraits of comrades-in-arms) in Białystok from 13. 10. 2019 it was honoured in the annual book of the Museum of Sybir (Museum of Sybir) with the contribution “Twarze pomocy broni” (Faces of comrades-in-arms).
