My father wrote this sentence in his «Writings of a late youth» (Opowiadania z późniejszej młodości), when he was already marked by his cancer and very weakened. And these were his authentic thoughts after 1945, when Poland was definitely abandoned by the Western Allies to the sphere of influence of the Soviet Union in the Treaty of Yalta. It became his guiding principle for his whole life. This is the only way to understand his immense commitment.

At present, essays are being prepared for this chapter by various important personalities of the Polish diaspora in Switzerland who knew him and were his comrades in his «fight with another weapon» for many years. I would like to thank you here in advance for your work.
